Established in 1995 and expanded facilities include latest technology in Channels system for production of Strawberries during the idle months of Summer when production in UAE comes to an end, to ensure continuous production all year round. The facilities in Iran includes Greenhouses spreading over an area of one hectare and Channel system which spread over an area of 10 hectares for production of strawberries for production of strawberries from June till December and beyond. Facilities in Iran also involve in the production of strawberry plants for supply to Mirak farm in UAE as well as Iran farm and selling to other customers in Iran and UAE. More than 3 million plants are produced annually. The facilities also include state of the art Cold Storage facilities, packing facilities, stores, offices and other facilities. Total investments up-to end of year 2005 is valued at more than AED 10 million.

The activities of the operation in Iran is primarily for trading in Iranian fruits and vegetables produced in Iran. Mirak procures these items, quality control them, grade them, pack them to export standards and exports them to Dubai operation for distribution in UAE and Export markets around the world. The potential for trading in Iranian product is immensely huge.
